This cosy historical centre apartment in Florence is just a stone's throw from Pontevecchio. With one bedroom Pitti Place is one of our best Florence historical apartments for rent and is ideal for visiting the historical centre of Florence.
External Description:
The apartment is roughly 60sqm and is located on the ground floor right in Piazza Pitti infront of Pitti Palace. The apartment has been finely furnished and is inside a lovely historical building.
Internal Description:
This apartment has a master bedroom and can sleep 2 people. Upon entering the apartment you will find a small living room with nice sofa, tv and a wall that separates it from the kitchen corner and well equipped kitchen. There are two big windows high up in this area which look out on to the front of the building.
To the right of this area you will find the bedroom with a small attic space and the ensuite bathroom with shower.
Excluded from the price: For rentals over 60 days the utility bills are extra.
On arrival guests will be required to provide credit card details as a guarantee for the security deposit for the following amounts:
- For rentals of 14 days or less: 1000€
- For rentals of 15 days or more: 2000€
- For rentals of 60 days or more the deposit shall be equal to 2 month’s rent.
Destinations
Pitti Place is located in the heart of the Oltrarno neighbourhood of Florence near to Palazzo Pitti and Santo Spirito square and is one of the most historic parts of the city. The Oltrarno is characterized by narrow cobble-stone streets well-known for the many authentic workshops belonging to famous Florentine artisans, not to mention the many cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, theatres and museums.

Parking
Not only is on-street parking in Florence extremely difficult to find but also since the historical centre (including the area where the apartment is located) is in the ZTL (a restricted traffic zone) non-residents are prohibited from entering the city centre and driving around during certain hours. Unrestricted access is only granted between the hours of 7.30pm and 7.30am Monday - Saturday (times subject to variations depending on the period of year). We advise you to leave your car in one of the several private garages in the vicinity as most garages will be able to provide you with a 1 hour permission to enter the centre during the restricted hours (only to drop off/pick up luggage).

Air-conditioning, internet connection, central heating, intercom system, washing machine or dishwasher (to be confirmed which) oven, fridge freezer, kettle, Italian coffee machine (Moka), iron and ironing board, hairdryer, kitchen and cooking accessories, linen and towels for bathroom and bedroom.
