Villa Cerreto is owned by a renowned Florentine family belonging to the fashion industry and dates back to the 1700’s. The villa is located in the village of Pianella, which is just 14 km from the historical centre of Siena and just over an hour from Florence. The villa is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico on the side of a hill and is surrounded by wonderful vineyards and offers a truly splendid view of the countryside. The villa is stone built and has been completely refurnished to create a truly elegant and accommodating family villa. Surrounding the garden there are lovely well-kept gardens on several layers which out on the valley’s below including the wonderful infinity pool (18m x 4m) and fitted with garden chairs and chaise longues. There is also a pizza oven.
Internal Description:
Villa Cerreto has been completely renovated in a truly authentic Tuscan style. The villa is spread on two levels for a total of 500sqm. The villa can comfortably sleep up to 14 people in 7 bedrooms. There are 5 double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. There are also 7 bathrooms.
On the ground floor you will find the main entrance which looks out onto the garden, terraces and infinity pool. Here you will also find the spacious and well equipped kitchen which can also become the breakfast room, a dining room with fireplace and guest bathroom (just WC). On the same floor you will also find two double bedrooms (one green and one red one). Each of these bedrooms has it owns en-suite bathroom with double sink and bathtub. The master bedroom is a lilac colour and has an anteroom / living room and a bathroom with shower and bathtub.
From the kitchen, a wide patio door leads on out to the patio and terrace which is decked with an umbrella for outdoor dining. In the once “lemon house” the current owners have created a very naturally cool pathway that leads onto the solarium terrace and to the right a small internal courtyard that leads onto the dependence which houses the laundry and ironing room on the ground floor along with a storage room, two bathrooms on the upper floor, one with a shower and the other with just a toilet. Furthermore, you will find 3 more rooms in the attic part and which have communicating doors (they are divided by walls and not by a door). There is also a living room and two twin bedrooms. The height of the ceiling varies (being in the attic) so these rooms are advisable only to children. Apart from the solarium terrace, there is another room (studio like) converted into a bedroom with private bathroom with shower, which is also separate from the main building.
From the main entrance, stairs lead up to the first floor to a lovely spacious and bright living room with stunning views from the windows over towards the valley. This room leads onto the master suite (blue) with en-suite bathroom with double sink and bathtub. To the side of the property there is a lovely covered loggia with stone arches. This area is perfect for enjoying the views and sipping a glass of wine in complete peace and relaxation. Near to the property, but separate, you will find the staff quarters who work for the property owners and also the house where the property owners live. They have access to the house from the solarium terrace. These two buildings don’t face the villa to ensure complete and total privacy for guests.
Included in the price: final clearing and domestic staff: 2 people to work from 8.00am until 2pm and from 4.30pm until 9.30pm

Security Deposit:
5.000,00 Euro for rentals up to 2 weeks (up to 14 days)
10.000,00 Euro for rentals over 15 days
The Security deposit should be paid by wire transfer and sent one week before arrival. The money will be refunded at the end of your stay minus any extras or cost for damages found on Check Out.

The villa is located on a hill in the Chianti region about 14km from Siena.
Florence international airport is about 80km away, San Gimignano is 55km away, Pisa 180km way, Arezzo 70km away. The nearest village is Pianella at 700 mtrs away. Here you will find shops, a pharmacy, food stores, bars, doctors and a bank.
At Castelnuovo Berardenga (2 kms away) you will find a tennis club.
For art lovers visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni: you will find museums, art galleries etc.
At the beginning of July: There is a festival in the Chianti region.

Swimming pool (18 by 4 mtrs) is open from 1st June until 31st October. The kitchen is well equipped with double oven, microwave, double gas ringed hob, steak rack, fridge, freezer and double dishwasher. The laundry room has a washing machine, iron, ironing board. The villa comes with all linens and towels for bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a satellite tv, video player (VCR), DVD player, phone and barbecue.
The whole villa is fully airconditioned.
